I joined
LTF in March 07. I had previously never stayed committed to
any healthy lifestyle changes for more than 3-4 months. With
LTF, as of April 08 I've lost 102 lbs., over 30 inches, and dropped
my body fat significantly.
I have
never stayed this committed to eating a healthier diet, going cardio
and weights at the gym three times a week. These numbers mean
a lot to me and I am proud of what I have accomplished. Jesse
is my trainer and when we first started, I met with him about every
week..... I still meet with my trainer once a month to get my program
enhanced.
I can't
really pinpoint what made me want to join a gym, eat better, regularly
exercise, and truly want to be healthier. I did hit my all
time high weight but had done that before and done nothing about
it. I will say that I am comfortable at this gym, the people
who attend and the people who work there are nice and I love the
results I am getting.
The "old"
me would not have stayed with it long enough to see significant
results. The first two weeks of eating less were the hardest
BUT my body adjusted and I can honestly say I no longer feel hungry.
Seeing the weight come off was a big motivator for me.
So I continue
to plug along and am working to lower my body fat to 20%!
